The Author
As a child I spent hours outside playing made-up games, filling long afternoons with characters who had names, birthdays, backstories, hopes and dreams.
I played them in the back garden of my mother’s house, along the ocean shore near my grandmother’s, and whenever my mind drifted out of the classroom and into my imaginary land of fairy tales. Those games became the very thing I needed to excel as an author.
I wrote my first poem at twelve and knew creative writing was my calling. I’ve since written hundreds of poems, a few dozen short stories and a handful of children’s books, with many more on the way.
