My imagination was my safe haven when I was growing up. I would spend hours outside playing
made-up games, creating scenarios and storylines to fill the many hours of a child’s afternoon. The
characters had names, birthdays, backstories, hopes and dreams. I would play these games in the
back garden of my mother’s house, across the ocean shore near my grandmother’s house, or when
my mind drifted out of the classroom and into my imaginary land of fairy tales. These imagination
games that I played as a child became the very thing I needed to excel in my career as an author.
When I wrote my first poem at twelve, I found that creative writing was my calling. I have since
written hundreds of poems, a few dozen short stories and a handful of children’s books. In the years
to come many of these works will be published for you all to read, but, for now, you will have to
browse my books to see what will best fit into your home library.
