About T.C. Standish
Writing my first poem at twelve ignited my passion for creative writing.
This passion quickly branched from poetry writing into short stories and
novels.
I published my debut novel at sixteen. However, due to the circumstances
surrounding the publishing company, the book was taken off the market
and I put off publishing again for many years.
I won multiple English language awards in high school and went on to study
copywriting at an advertising school in Cape Town, South Africa. During my
time there, I won a silver Pendoring Award for one of my university
projects.
In March 2025, I self-published my first children’s book: The Green Swamp
Monster. Only a few months later, in July, I self-published my second
children’s book: The Magician’s Daughter. Look out for the next published
